If you ever go to St.Augustine here are some things that you should do. First, you should go to the town because there are many shops that you can go into! There was also this really good waffle place, it was called, Cousteau's Waffle and Milkshake bar. At Cousteau’s they have really good waffles, I had a plain waffle with syrup and just a plain one was delicious! Plus, they have milkshakes!! Their milkshakes are amazing, again I went simple with the vanilla milkshake with whip creme on top, but it was still really good.
The Old School House is where kids used to go to school and learn. The old school house was made back in the eighteenth century, so it is very old. When you go you can view copies of old books and papers.
In St. Augustine there is The Fort and the fort was used in Queen Anne’s War. It is super cool! Outside they still have the place where they lit the cannon balls to make them really, really hot and then shoot them at the enemy and they showed all of the canon sizes and what they looked like.
The beach was awesome! I went boogie boarding and some waves were too big and some waves were perfect for boogie boarding. I went at the end of June and the water was a perfect temperature, it wasn't too hot and it wasn’t too cold. You could also just walk along the beach and dip your feet in the water. When I went on a walk on the beach I found lots of shells. The campground that we stayed at was on the water so you just had to take a short walk and you would be at the beach. The campground was called Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort.
Overall, I would go back again and jump back in the water. I would suggest that you only stay for 3-4 days because that is plenty of time to do everything that you want to do. Stay tuned for more blogs coming soon!!
